Protecsa formerly called Marco Panama was established in 1971 in Panama City, Republic of Panama to operate as a service center to support the international tuna purse seining fleets.

With the support of our former partner Marine Construction & Design (Marco) located in Seattle, Washington we initially specialized in the supply and service of hydraulic deck machinery and marine electronics navigation and communication systems found onboard tuna purse seiners. 

As the company grew it expanded into new markets. In our present format we specialize in the supply and support of products under four business groups: hydraulic systems, industrial hardware, marine electronics y marine systems.
